The Poze Throw by Debrosse

You can buy this pattern from the designer on Ravelry.

I wouldn’t normally crochet in an aran weight woolly yarn, but I’ve made this throw using Alpaca with Shetland. It’s the simplest pattern ever, so an ideal project for watching the TV to. It looks like a woven waffle weave and you can make it any size. My limitation was making sure it didn’t get too big to fit inside the washing machine. Once I had finished it, I gave it a wash in the machine on a 30 degree wool cycle with short spin. I dried it flat and when it was 99% dry, it had a quick blast in the tumble drier to tighten up the stitches and fluff it up a bit. It’s beautifully warm and cosy.

I used about a kg of yarn for this project. I might make it again using a DK weight yarn.
