On 13th December 2024 the EU General Product Safety regulation (GPSR) comes into effect. Although animal byproducts are outside the scope (because they are covered by other regulations), it is unclear how products made from alpaca and wool yarns will be treated.
I have decided to suspend deliveries to the EU and Northern Ireland until I can obtain feedback on how the regulations are being applied. I’m sorry about this, but it is already difficult and time consuming to post to the EU and I do not want parcels stuck at customs.
