    ‘Poldale Silk ‘ is a 4ply weight knitting yarn made by Wooltops.  There’s lots of twist in the yarn to make it more hardwearing for knitting socks,  This yarn is also suitable for garments and accessories.

    This yarn knits to 4ply, Sock or Fingering weight knitting patterns, (but always knit a tension swatch).  There are approximately 400m per 100g and the yarn is sold in 100g hanks.  If you would like us to wind the hanks into balls for you, plesae make a note on your order.

    Poldale Silk is available in one natural shade.  85% Falklands Corriedale/Polwarth wool, 15% Mulberry silk.

    Gentle handwash or use the wool cycle of your machine with a small amount of non-bio detergent.  Dry flat and do not tumble dry.
