Pure Natural Alpaca

This is our finest, softest alpaca yarn for hand knitting, crochet or weaving. The yarn is warm yet light and durable.  As the fibre is so fine, it will pill initially. These fleeces are purchased from UK alpaca breeders and carefully sorted and blended at Town End before being sent for spinning in Britain. This naturally coloured yarn, which is a blend of whites, fawns and browns, has been semi-worsted spun, which gives it a silky drape.

Our alpaca yarn can be knitted using standard aran-weight patterns, but we recommend that you make a tension square first.

As we only produce small quantities and batches vary, please ensure that you order sufficient to finish your project.
